Couples Therapy

What’s Included

Equality

In couples therapy, the couple is the client. Both clients will have equal opportunity to share.

Therapist Role

You can expect the therapist to be an unbiased third party who will facilitate respectful conversations between you and your partner.

Common Topics

Some concerns that come up in session may include, but are not limited to sex, friendships, parenting, communication, finances, health concerns, infertility, in-laws, and emotional distance.

In situations where substance use, domestic abuse of any kind, or suicidal ideation exist, these concerns will take priority over couples therapy, and it will be reccommended to address them first individually.

The first couples session is typically 90 minutes, with each additional session running for 60 minutes, unless otherwise specified.
